Borrego Palm Canyon Campground is the largest and most developed campground in Anza Borrego State Park, and features 122 campsites spread across three loops. The campground is located just outside the town of Borrego Springs, CA. The best part about Borrego Palm Canyon Campground is the hike into the namesake canyon, which is an oasis in the desert featuring large California Palm trees surrounding natural springs in the desert. The springs and palm trees create a tropical mirage in the desert that even features a small waterfall. This is also the closest campground to the Anza Borrego Visitor Center, which offers a number of exhibits showcasing the desert.

Anza Borrego Desert State Park is one of the largest state parks in the country and offers a ton of activities including hiking, camping, and off-roading on over 500 miles of trails that cross the park. The park is also known for massive wildflower blooms after spring rains that blanket the dry desert.

Borrego Palm Canyon is divided up into three loops with one loop setup with full hookups for RVs up to 25 feet in length. The other two loops do not have hookups and are available for tent camping or RVs up to 35 feet in length. Each of the campsites includes a fire ring, picnic table, and access to bathrooms, showers, and running water.
