Groom Creek Horse Camp is small equestrian campground located in the Bradshaw Mountains, about 9 miles south of Prescott. The campground is situated in Prescott National Forest near trails that are popular for horse riding. The campground is open from May 1st through October 31st each year.

The campground was recently renovated, with new corrals installed, and other updated facilities. There are 36 campsites that can accomodate large RVs and trailers. Each campsite has a fire ring, picnic table, and access to drinking water and vault toilets. Supplies and services are located a few miles away in Prescott.

Directions:
From downtown Prescott, head east on Gurley Street to Mt. Vernon Avenue. Head south on Mt. Vernon Ave (Senator Highway, Forest Road #52) for about 6.5 miles to Groom Creek. The Horse Camp is just 0.7 miles south of the center of Groom Creek. Trailhead for Groom Creek Loop Trail #307 is east across Forest Road #52 from the campground.
