Forgot your campsite lantern? Sure you told your significant other to pack it, but alas they did not (and nor did you). No sweat, use a gallon jug of water and a headlamp to make yourself a lantern that will provide enough light for your whole campsite.

Simply stretch the elastic band from your headlamp around a gallon jug (a jug similar to what milk comes in) of water and turn the light part inwards, so that the light is facing the plastic sidewall of the jug. The water will

scatter and collect the light in the jug and provide a similar effect to a balloon or globe with a light inside.

Homebrew Campsite Lantern

Boom! You now have a usable campsite lantern.
