Smothered Camping ChickenGrilling while camping can be questionable sometimes, depending on what your grill is. We are not partial to cooking bare metal on grills over fire pits due to the soot and ash that collects on the meat, and we are not fond of the health issues associated with cooking on rusty metal of the barbecues found at some campgrounds. So, we love this recipe from AdventureParents.com for smothered chicken because it allows us to cook over open fire pits and on barbecues without running into the previously mentioned phobias issues.
