Bonito Campground is located in a landscape of ponderosa pines and an ancient lava flow next to Sunset Crater National Monument. The moon-like landscape of the 1,000-year-old lava flow creates a unique camping experience with lots of adventures close by. In addition to Sunset Crater, the ancient Native American cliff dwellings at Wuputki National Monument are nearby.
This medium-sized campground has 44 campsites with access to flush toilets and drinking water. The entire campground is first-come, first-served with no reservations available.
