Canyon Point Campground is a large campground on the Mogollon Rim in Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest that makes a good jumping off point for exploring the area. Canyon Point is a heavily developed campground just off Arizona Highway 260 that is shaded by tall Ponderosa Pines and offering access to epic views over the rim into the desert floor below. The campground has access to many recreational activities, such as boating, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking opportunities. Heavy rain is common during the summer monsoons, and often bring heavy thunderstorms.

Each campground includes a picnic table, fire ring, and access to bathrooms and showers. There are 32 campsites with electric hookups. Gas and camping supplies are available at Forest Lakes, 1 mile east.
