Fall Creek Trail Camp is a primitive tree-covered campground in Angeles National Forest northwest of the City of Los Angeles. There are 14 campsites at Fall Creek Trail Camp, on a large hill over looking Big Tujunga Creek. The campground is a hike-in campground that is managed by the Forest Service. This campground is frequently closed by fire, threat of fire, road & trail wash outs, etc. Be sure to check current conditions.
All of the campsites at Fall Creek Trail Camp offer picnic tables and fire rings. A vault toilet is available. There is no piped drinking water available, however there is a small seasonal stream that flows alongside the campground, with water that can be filtered for drinking. However, the stream often runs dry during periods of low rainfall; be sure to bring plenty of water with you. You must pack all trash out. Reservations are not accepted, all campsites are available on a first-come/first-served basis.
While there is no fee to camp at Fall Creek Trail Camp, you will need to buy an Adventure Pass to park at the trailhead. Passes are not sold at the trail head an must be purchased in advance from a retailer. You will also need a free California Campfire Permit to have any open flame, including stoves, at the campground. The Campfire Permit can be obtained from any Forest Service ranger station of office, or online.
