Most of the space available for camping is located on a gravel beach along Apache Lake and are great for launching boats. There are no amenities at this dispersed campground, but camping supplies are available at the nearby Apache Lake Marina store.

Upper Burnt Corral Campground Bottom Line

Upper Burnt Corral Campground is a great campground, but it is difficult locate since there is no sign, and travel on AZ-88 can be nerve racking if you are not used to driving on dirt, washboard roads. Getting there, plus the fact that this is very much a primitive campground contributes to lower utilization of the site. If you are looking for privacy and solitude, as there is plenty of available space for camping away from others.
